DNS is a critical component of the Internet that has been in use since 1985. This course will provide participants with basic knowledge of how DNS works and how the different DNS components interact with each other.
The internet as we know it largely depends on the Domain Name System (DNS). DNS is akin to the telephone book of the internet, translating domain names into IP addresses.
This course will discuss DNS operations, configurations and security in detail. Participants will be involved in laboratory exercises to configure DNS servers and apply various security considerations.
