Dr. Ajadi is currently the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Mortgage Banking Association ofNigeria. He coordinates the formulation, articulation, and implementation of the NationalExecutive Council’s (NEC) policy decisions, operational plans, and strategies for delivering theAssociation's mandate.He has cultivated an impressive professional journey spanning nearly three decades, marked by adiverse array of roles that have significantly enriched his expertise. His career began at ExcelProfessional Centre in Ibadan in 1994, where he served as Registrar and Head of Administrationwhile also teaching aspiring accountancy professionals in Financial Management, ManagementAccounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Taxation. In 1998, he transitioned toAneni Dairo and Co., where he took on the role of Audit Officer.In March 1999, Dr. Ajadi moved to Chartered Bank Plc, gaining expertise in banking operationsand swiftly rising to the position of Operations Manager within three years. During his tenure, healso led the establishment of an award-winning branch in Ile-Ife, Osun State, from 2003 to 2005.His journey continued into management consulting with B. Adedipe Associates Limited and RMSInvestment Trust Limited from 2005 to 2006, where he gained insights into critical areas ofbusiness management, including human resources, recruitment, learning and development,strategic planning, and business research.In 2010, Dr. Ajadi joined The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers as Director/Head of Educationand Training, working with his team to elevate the institute’s examination and training standards.He was appointed Acting Registrar and CEO in 2013, and in 2014, he became the Registrar andCEO, a role he held with distinction until completing his maximum two tenures in July 2021.A distinguished professional, Dr. Ajadi is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountantsof Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is also an Associate of The Associationof Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), and a Member of The Association of CertifiedInternational Investment Analysts. His academic achievements include bachelor’s degrees inApplied Accounting and Agricultural Extension & Rural Sociology, MSc. degrees in Finance andInvestment and Agricultural Economics, an MBA from Nexford University, USA, and a Ph.D. inFinance.Dr. Ajadi’s dedication to excellence has earned him numerous awards, including the prestigiousChevening Scholarship from the UK government, the Excellent Leadership and Long ServiceAwards from the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, the Top Postgraduate and Educational TrustAwards from The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK), and the CFA (UK) Awardfor Outstanding Investment Research.Dr Ajadi is happily married and blessed with children
